T'ai Chi Chih



T’ai Chi Chih is a form of moving meditation originated by a T'ai Chi Ch'uan master. I am an accredited teacher of this form and I have a daily practice of combining it with sitting meditation.


T’ai Chi Chih can be practiced anywhere and one does not have to do the entire practice (nineteen movements and one pose) to get benefit and results.


The movements of TCC stimulate, circulate, and balance the “Chi”, which is the intrinsic energy that flows within the body and throughout the universe. We know that all matter is energy so to practice connecting to this flow and increasing the flow in the body produces significant results if done with any degree of regularity and especially if done under the guidance of a teacher.



People have reported many significant results after learning and practicing the movements such as lower blood pressure, resolution of joint issues, less inflammation in the body resulting in less tension, ending headaches and loss of energy through muscle tension. Other areas that people report significant results are emotional balance, better ability to focus, and clearer perception of self and others.
